STATEMENT
My practice explores how ancestral memory and transformation are carried through landscapes, materials, and living beings, revealing the connections that bind us across time, place, and generations.
Rather than depicting the visible world, I seek to uncover what lies beneath its surface: memories embedded in place, traces of those who came before us, and the continuous exchange between human experience and the living world.
Through an intuitive process, figures, organic forms, layered surfaces, fragments of text, and symbolic imagery emerge, creating spaces where the physical and the intangible coexist.
My work questions the boundaries between humanity and nature, self and collective, and past and present. It invites contemplation rather than certainty, encouraging viewers to reflect on our shared histories and the interconnectedness of all forms of life.
Working across painting, collage, and sculpture, I create layered forms and surfaces that echo the accumulation of memory—each layer concealing, revealing, and transforming what came before.
